The Stars'Up festival in Meudon

The Stars'Up festival in Meudon

Stars'Up, the first festival of science, aerospace and innovation took place on June 29th at the Meudon Observatory. Atawa set up a nomadic Strech tent and Pagoda tents to welcome 5000 enthusiasts throughout the day.

A Stretch tent to recall the Star Wars spirit

Drone races, hot-air balloon rides, conferences, lightsaber demonstrations, scientific escape games, sky observation or open-air cinema, Meudon Space Contractor has seen things through to make 5,000 science, aerospace and innovation lovers dream.  For the occasion, Atawa and its teams have set up a company space in the heart of the Meudon Observatory. To recall the "Star Wars" spirit, there is nothing better than a 380 m² nomadic Stretch tent!

Stretched on aluminium poles and entirely open to the outside, it allowed the public to enjoy the scenery and animations while remaining in the shade of the heat wave. An airy space for sponsors, professionals and visitors, where everyone enjoyed lounging around and watching the stars at nightfall.

A global offer to design the Science Village

Atawa assisted the event organiser in the design of this first edition. In order to make this festival unique, several proposals were made, taking into account budgetary issues and the funding obtained from sponsors.

Lighting, sanitary blocks (5 cabins, 3 urinals) and two Pagoda tents with white opaque canvas to house the control room for the main stage and the Red Cross in the heart of the Science Village were also provided by Atawa.

One thing is certain, young and old alike had a trip into space that they will remember for a long time!
